01. How do I sign up with Anytime Pet Sitters?

There are several ways that you can sign up for pet sitting services. You can call or text us at 918-928-7605, email us at info@anytimepetsitters.net, send us a message on Facebook, or fill out the RSVP form on our Contact page to make a pet sitting request. Please be sure that you include: your contact information, the dates you need services, what type and how many visits per day.

If you are a new client, we will then set up an Initial Consultation. At this visit, we will all get to meet. We will then fill out the necessary paperwork, go over detailed care instructions for each of your pets, answer any questions you may have, and pick up keys. If you are already an established client, all you need to do is give us a quick call, text, or email and we will take care of the rest!

02. Is Anytime Pet Sitters bonded and insured?

Yes. Anytime Pet Sitters is fully bonded and insured for you and your pet’s protection. The owner and any employees are insured through Pet Sitters Associates, LLC with the optional extra coverage. This insurance covers liability, bodily injury, property damage, theft and more. A valid certificate of membership will be presented upon request.

03. Are your rates per pet?

No. Our rates are based per household, per visit. Based on your individual needs, some may require one visit, while others may require several visits per day. We will perform all basic tasks that are listed under each type of visit. Any additional requests will be fulfilled, within the time frame provided. We ask that you please provide us with adequate time to complete all services requested. If the visits are consistently taking more time than requested, we will make every attempt to contact you for your approval to adjust as necessary. Payment for additional time and/or services must be paid within 14 days of receipt of invoice.

04. Can I mix and match different visits?

Absolutely! Our goal is to set up a customized package that is convenient for you, and best fits the needs of you and your pets. If you would like to make a special request for a service that you don’t see listed on our Services page, please don’t hesitate to ask.

05. I am new to having a pet sitter. What visits should I choose?

Not sure what you need? Give Anytime Pet Sitters a call. By asking you some questions, we can help you figure out what will fit your household needs and your budget best. If you are still undecided, we are very flexible. We can try the minimum recommended number of visits, see how your pets do, and adjust if necessary.

06. When do I have to pay for my services?

Payment from first time clients is required at the time the Service Agreement is signed, usually at the Initial Consultation. For repeat services, we ask that clients leave the payment to be picked up at the first visit, unless other arrangements have been made.

Holidays are typically our busiest time. To ensure a spot, we suggest that you make reservations early and secure them with a down-payment up front.

07. When are you available?

Anytime Pet Sitters is available for pet sitting 7 days a week, 365 days a year. However, as pet sitters, we work mornings, afternoons and nights on all weekdays, weekends and especially holidays. Because of this, we occasionally need to schedule time off for ourselves too. We will give you as much advanced notice as possible via email, our website, and our Facebook page. In case you happen to be needing service during one of these times, we strongly recommend having a backup sitter/plan in place.

08. Does Anytime Pet Sitters provide overnights?

We are currently not providing overnight pet sitting services at this time. We recommend doing more frequent and/or longer visits during the day.

09. Who will be coming into my home?

We know that the idea of having a stranger come into your home can make you nervous at first. You will get to meet us beforehand, at the Intitial Consultation, where we encourage you to ask lots of questions. If you are not comfortable at that time, we can set up additional meetings for a fee. It is our goal to build a trusting and lasting relationship with you. We are animal lovers, and most pets sense this and take to us right away. Any employees hired by Anytime Pet Sitters are people we trust with our own homes and pets. Our pets are our kids, so we set the bar high. You can go to the About Us page to read more about our pet sitters. We are certain that after your first pet sitting services with us, you will be completely comfortable with us. Your pets will too! After our first couple of visits, they get used to our routines and look forward to our return. References will be provided upon request.

To make you feel even more at ease, we provide Daily Updates for all our clients. Each day we put up photos of your pets and write stories of what we did, so you can see what they’ve been up to while you were gone. Our clients love this and eagerly wait for their Daily Update! All you need is an internet connection. You can always contact us for additional updates if you need.

Please inform us ahead of time if anyone else will be coming into your home while you are away. This includes house cleaners, friends, children, or other family members. Occasionally, we have come in to find doors have accidentally been left unlocked, pets not in the areas they should be (or locked in areas they shouldn’t) and things just do not feel right. We are very attentive to details, and it is not a good feeling to see things out of place or a new vehicle in the driveway. We will call the police if we see unexpected visitors!

10. How can I prepare for my Initial Consultation?

Read and fill out the New Client Packet prior to the Initial Consultation.

Please have documentation regarding your pet’s vaccinations and health. We will need information on your preferred veterinary or emergency clinic. Make sure your pet wears current vaccination tags and/or identification on their collar.

You will need to show us where all pet supplies are located (i.e. food, medications, litter pans/scoop, leashes, etc.) Also the location of any cleaning supplies are helpful in case of accidents (i.e. garbage can, paper towels, etc.)

We ask that you leave contact info for alarm and utility companies in case of emergency. Locations of the breaker box, gas and water shut-off valves are also good to know.

In case of a problem or an emergency, we will make every effort to contact you.  Please leave one or more alternate emergency contacts with us in the event we can’t reach you.

Make sure you have 2 tested keys ready for pick up at the consultation. If you only have 1 key, a secondary backup method could be a hidden key, garage code, key left with a neighbor, etc. We will also need any security codes if you have an alarm.  We will keep all keys and alarm info under a code system.  Your address and information will not be kept with your keys.

11. What can I do to prepare for my pet sitter before I leave?

If your pet is a chewer, you could leave him/her chew toys, Kongs or one of many toys on the market that he/she interacts with for noise or treats. We like to leave on a tv or radio for our own pets while we are away. You may also consider confining your pet to a pet-proofed area in your absence. If your pet has any unusual habits like destructive behavior when left alone, changes in bowel or eating habits, etc. please let us know in advance. Close off any areas of your home that are off limits to your pets and pet sitters.

Please have everything your pet needs in one visible area. This includes food, medications, treats, dishes, utensils, can opener, leashes, litter/litter pans/scoop, paper towels, cleaning supplies, garbage bags, broom/dustpan, housebreaking materials, watering can for plants, etc. Please provide enough supplies in case you are home later than expected.

Notify your veterinarian and your neighbors that a pet sitter will be caring for your pets. Please authorize your vet to extend medical care in your absence if it becomes necessary. We recommend leaving a credit card on file with your vet in case of emergency.

12. What will Anytime Pet Sitters do with my keys?

We normally pick up 2 fully tested keys or 2 accepted methods of entry (i.e. garage code, leave key with a neighbor or family member, etc.) during our Initial Consultation. If only one key is provided, we can have a copy made for you for a minimal charge. Keys will be coded and will not have any of your contact information with them. During service, one key will be with the pet sitter, while the other remains locked up in case of emergency, a key breaks or fails to work, etc. When not in use, we offer storage of your keys in a secured location for your convenience until your next reservation. This way, if you need any last minute pet sitting, we are ready to go and do not have to make arrangements for key pick up. This has also proven to come in handy when owners accidentally lock themselves out of the house, as we are able to come to the rescue at any time!

Keys may be returned after each service upon request. These will need to be scheduled with us. After your first service with us, key pick up and returns will be subject to a fee.
