Blog Changes
Due to problems uploading photos to our blog, we will be returning to our old blog on Blogspot as of today, November 20th. We will keep both temporarily so you can still check on older posts. Within a couple weeks we will switch completely over, so that when you click on Daily Updates, it will just direct you to the new blog. For now, you may click on this link:

Read More »Luke & Maycie
This morning Luke and Maycie were awake and waiting by the door to go outside. I saw a black and white cat standing in the middle of the yard when we got out there. Neither of them saw it at first! Then, Luke saw the kitty and went racing after it, with his football in his mouth. The kitty hopped up on the fence and just sat there. Maycie came running over too, and kept trying to jump up towards it. The kitty just sat there, knowing it was safely out of reach. It didn’t move the whole rest of the time I was there. That kept Maycie busy for quite awhile. Luke kept faking me out today, pretending like he wanted to play fetch. He would drop the ball, then as soon as I would go to grab it, he would pick it up and take off! Later he and Maycie were chasing each other around again. When it was time to go in, I had to get Luke to leave the ball. That was no easy task!

Today Cali rolled around for a second, then sat by her place mat, waiting for her fresh food! She just sat and watched, until I started talking to her. Then she dropped and rolled some more! When I came to sit with her in the living room, she went and rubbed her face on my back. She came around, chasing after the string as I tossed it towards her. She zoomed after it and would chew on it for a bit until it moved again. She curled up and rested her paws on my legs for a little while before she decided to climb up into her chair. Cali continued to play as she sat on her perch. She got down and walked me to the door today as I was leaving.

Jennifer Schneider
Owner/Pet Sitter
My name is Jennifer Schneider. Pets of all shapes and sizes have been around me all my life, as my family shares the same passion and love for animals that I do. I have owned and/or cared for almost every different kind of pet you can think of, large and small! I am certified in Pet First Aid and CPR and also am continuing my education into Dog Training. Growing up I’ve had dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, iguanas, turtles, saltwater fish, etc. just to name a few! As a child, I spent most of my time outdoors, finding all sorts of critters to bring home. I was the type of kid that tried to rescue everything by bringing it home and attempting to nurse it back to health.

Pet Sitter
My name is Sadie Lehman. I always have, and always will be, a huge animal lover! Living out in the country, our family has always owned dogs, cats and horses. Growing up and not having many friends nearby, my pets were always my best and most loyal friends. My family owned a pet store when I was younger, and I was there all the time, helping out. Constantly surrounded by animals of all types, my bond with them grew even stronger. Everyone in my family has a unique connection with animals that helps us get through to most pets that others can’t. People are constantly telling me, “Wow! Max doesn’t usually warm up to people that fast,” or, “How did you do that? No one can ever get close enough to pet that cat!”. I love animals of all types, and I think they can sense that.
