Blog Changes
Due to problems uploading photos to our blog, we will be returning to our old blog on Blogspot as of today, November 20th. We will keep both temporarily so you can still check on older posts. Within a couple weeks we will switch completely over, so that when you click on Daily Updates, it will just direct you to the new blog. For now,
Luke & Maycie
This morning Luke and Maycie were awake and waiting by the door to go outside. I saw a black and white cat standing in the middle of the yard when we got out there. Neither of them saw it at first! Then, Luke saw the kitty and went racing after it, with his football in his mouth. The kitty hopped up on the fence
Toby, Tyson & Morgan
This morning Toby came running when he heard the food hit his bowl! He quickly gobbled up his breakfast. It was so nice out this morning, so we went for a nice long walk. When we returned, Morgan was sleeping cozily on a blanket on the couch. I pet Morgan for a little bit while Tyson got his drink from the faucet. This afternoon
Luke & Maycie
The kiddos were ready to go outside when I arrived this evening. Maycie was just bouncing up and down! As soon as we got outside, Luke began to cry to me to play fetch. I asked him where his ball was and he just stared and wagged his tail. Eventually he raced off into the darkness and returned with a football! I was going
Toby, Tyson & Morgan
This afternoon I found Toby all cozy in bed. I attacked him with kisses and hugs and he went crazy, his tail wagging all over the place. We went outside for a bit and he ran around like a bullet, just burning energy. He came back over by me when he was ready to go inside. I said hello to Morgan and Tyson after
Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie
Bootsie meowed hello this afternoon as I let the pups out. Buck stopped next to me for a quick pet before he joined the others in the laps around the yard. Later, he curled up with a toy to play with for awhile. The girls came running over together for some attention. Buck saw that and decided to join them. He buried his face
Sarge
This afternoon Sarge flew out of his kennel and followed me to the backdoor. We headed outside and he was all of the sudden bursting with energy. He was running around, back and forth, jumping up and down. It was so funny! Then he started rolling around in the grass. I finally got him to calm down so he would take care of business.
Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie
The kids went racing out of their room this afternoon. Tizzy was flying up and over the back of the couch and everyone was barking and bouncing around excitedly. After they ran their laps, they ran to the front of the yard. I went over to see what they were all so interested in. They were watching squirrels and birds in the trees on
Miranda
Miranda was perched on the couch today, wide awake when I showed up. She quickly hopped off the couch to come and give me a big hug. We headed outside and she grabbed her frizbee immediately. She carried it around the whole time. It was so funny because it was folded in half like an omelette. I threw it for her a few times
Buckley, Chloe, Tizzy, JR & Bootsie
This afternoon Bootsie was hiding safely as the pups raced out to the back door. They all zoomed out in a pack to their tree by the trailer. They ran back and forth from one end of the yard to the other. Since it was chilly today with the strong wind, we played inside for awhile. JR sat with me on the couch and
Cali
Today Cali rolled around for a second, then sat by her place mat, waiting for her fresh food! She just sat and watched, until I started talking to her. Then she dropped and rolled some more! When I came to sit with her in the living room, she went and rubbed her face on my back. She came around, chasing after the string as
Miranda
pMiranda was a sleepy girl when I arrived this afternoon. She was all bundled up on the couch. She woke up when she saw me and ran to say hello. She grabbed her red nylabone then we headed outside. She walked around for a bit until she found the right spot to do her business, then after that I threw her bone for her
Frankie
Frankie was hiding on the other side of the couch when I arrived this evening. I called out her name and she came trotting out to say hello. She heard me say the word ‘outside’ and within seconds she was sitting at the door, ready for me to put on her leash. We went outside and I took her to a quiet spot where
Cali
Cali did her drop and roll again today when I came in to see her. She stood at her food spot while I got her dinner ready for her. She worked on that as I cleaned her box. When she saw me come back, she came right over to rub her face on me. She curled up in my lap and purred away! Then,
Miranda
Miranda ran to the door to give me a welcoming hug this afternoon. It was cold and rainy out today so Miranda didn’t take long outside. She doesn’t like yucky weather. She quickly did her thing, then it was back inside for some quality time filled with kisses and belly rubs.
